A longer southbound route that keeps the elegant structure of our signature Nile journeys while adding Dendera, Garagos, Bissau Island and Her-Diab Island.

Dendera Temple · Garagos Village
Visit Dendera Temple, dedicated to Goddess Hathor, then continue to the traditional village of Garagos, known for pottery crafts.
Sail back south to Luxor and overnight in Luxor.

Luxor West Bank · Esna Lock · El-Hegz Village
Discover the West Bank highlights: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Meanwhile, the Dahabiya sails towards Esna, where guests rejoin the vessel before arriving at Esna.
Cross the Esna Lock and sail upstream, overnighting near El-Hegz Village.

Sail to Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples.
Continue towards Bissau Island for a special BBQ dinner and overnight by the island.
